Take Your Virtual Happy Hour to the Next Level

In today’s new normal of social distancing and working from home, the need to find new and creative ways to stay in touch with friends and family is more important than ever. The world we live in has turned drinks at restaurants into drinks at home, and a girls’ night out into a virtual Netflix party or game night.

These days, it’s easy to find ourselves missing the after-work ritual of drinks with coworkers, or book club nights around a living room fireplace with friends. The good news is, you can still enjoy these cherished life moments by hosting a virtual happy hour of your own! All you need is a can of DIABOLO and your favorite cocktail base, and you are ready to go!

Whether you’re having a cozy chat with your far-flung besties or are ready to get dressed up for a holiday gathering with relatives, here are two things you need to know about successfully hosting a virtual cocktail party.

1. Keep it Small

There’s a benefit to keeping your happy hour fairly intimate. Too many people in a Google Hangout or on a Zoom screen can lead to chaotic and stressful conversations. Aim for 8 to 10 of your closest friends or family for the perfect virtual meeting.

2. Have Your Favorite Cocktail on Hand

To get into the happy hour spirit at home, create your own version of your favorite cocktail or spirit-free beverage! DIABOLO is the perfect mixer for any cocktail your taste buds crave, whether that be something sweet and fruity or tart and refreshing.

The DIABOLO Sparkling French Lemonade collection features six exciting flavors, each with its own personality and charm. The wonderfully sweet and bubbly flavors of sparkling French lemonade are the perfect addition to any happy hour event or holiday party.
